What the site supports

• Clear headings, landmarks and a link to skip directly to the main content.
• Keyboard navigation with visible focus.
• Sentence translations that work with a mouse, touch or keyboard.
• European Portuguese and British English language information for assistive technology.
• Responsive pages, reduced-motion preferences and print-friendly reading.
• Book text and core navigation that remain available without JavaScript.

Reading controls

The reader includes text-size and line-spacing controls. Browser zoom and operating-system text settings also remain available. English can be opened one sentence at a time or shown throughout a chapter.

Known limitations

Accessibility varies with browser, device and assistive technology. Testing cannot represent every combination, so reports from readers are particularly valuable.
