This site has no accounts, analytics, advertising or third-party tracker. Its contact form sends only the information you choose to provide.

Information stored on your device

If JavaScript is enabled, the site can remember light or dark mode, text size, line spacing and your latest reading position in this browser's local storage. These preferences are not sent to Aprender Português. You can remove them from Help: manage local preferences.

Contact form

The Contact page asks for a reply email, subject and message; a name and page or book reference are optional. The form sends those fields over HTTPS to the website's own handler, which forwards them to the project mailbox. The hosting provider and receiving email provider process the message in order to deliver it. There are no file uploads. The details are used to reply, investigate a report and assess possible improvements. A correction may inform a later update, but a sender's name or email is not published without separate agreement.

Messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for correspondence and project records. Please do not include passwords, unpublished works or unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

Hosting and abuse-prevention records

The web server receives basic request information needed to deliver and protect each page, such as an IP address, requested page and browser details. Form submissions also create a pseudonymous rate-limit token from the IP address using a random key held in server temporary storage. Per-address timestamps stop counting after 15 minutes and global timestamps after one hour; expired entries are removed when a later form request is processed or the host clears temporary files. Aprender Português does not add analytics or advertising and does not use these records for those purposes.
